De La Salle Christian Brothers celebrate 300 years since foundation
Brother Jorge Gallardo, the Vicar General of the De La Salle Brothers, recalls in a video message Pope Francis’ invitation to make a pilgrimage as they commence the 300th anniversary of Saint John Baptist de La Salle’s entry into eternal life and the impact of the mission he started.
De La Salle Christian Brothers throughout the world will come together in 2019 to celebrate the Year of Lasallian Vocations with the theme “De La Salle: One Heart, One Commitment, One Life.”
The year-long celebration will take place during the 2018-2019 liturgical year, beginning on December 2, 2018 and concluding on November 24, 2019, with the Feast of Christ the King.
