On Friday, Pope Francis met with representatives of the various peoples of the Amazon region of Peru, and of nearby localities.
The Holy Father's address to the gathering begins after greetings from the Vicar Apostolic, Bishop David Martínez de Aguirre Guinea, O.P., and a reflection by a local catechist.
