Pope Francis appoints Cardinal Tagle as his Special Envoy to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, United States.

The Holy Father has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for the Evangelisation, as his Special Envoy to the National Eucharistic Congress in the United States of America.
The Congress will be celebrated in Indianapolis from 17 July to 21 July 2024.
According to the Congress' website, "the 10th National Eucharistic Congress is an invitation to experience profound personal revival so we can be sent out to share Christ’s love with a world that so desperately needs it".
