St. Oscar Romero, Martyr
This courageous Archbishop, martyred in 1980, became the “voice of the voiceless” in El Salvador. Assassinated while celebrating Mass, he shed his blood for “the redemption and resurrection” of his suffering people. His feast day is March 24.
