Protection of Minors: Card. Tagle 'Church's response to abuse crisis will be decisive'

In the immediate wake of the just ended Meeting on "The Protection of Minors in the Church", the The Archbishop of Manila reflects on the enormous pain and shame stemming from the clerical sexual abuse crisis, and he highlights esus' call to be a Church of disciples.
Cardinal Tagle promises the Church will respond decisively to the scourge, "not only providing answers, organisms and rules - that are all important - but responding to be the Church of Jesus Christ".
"The pain and the cries of the victims and of the poor are the voice telling us: be true to your calling".
