Pontifical Academy of Sciences to host World Changers Summit
By Jessica Jeyamaridas
The World Changers Summit, entitled "Forum to help shape a better future" is now in its third edition. The event was conceived by Professor Gabriele Andreoli, President of the Institute for Advance Studies and Cooperation (IASC).
He has chosen to host the summit at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the Vatican venue for dialogue on scientific, theological, technological and moral themes.
Science and technology for the good of people
Andreoli explains: "It’s from the Holy Church that this universal message of hope is being spread to all people based on the concreteness of what we present at this event: a message that sees high science and technology thought out and organized in every detail for the good of people and the world".
He adds that "there should not and cannot be any distinction, as what drives and guides us is the profound conviction that each human being has their own dignity and should therefore be able to live their life using what science, technology and faith allow us to do today”.
A better future
Achievements that might seem unattainable are instead not only achievable, but realized. And it is at the World Changers Summit that scientific and technological breakthroughs will be shown to shape a better future. Technology, theology, science and faith are at the heart of the World Changers Summit.
