Angolan Church looks forward to the visit of Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" is how the Catholic Church in Angola, particularly the Archdiocese of Luanda and Ondjiva Diocese have characterised the arrival of Cardinal Pietro Parolin to the country.
Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State, will be in Angola to ordain Archbishop-elect Germano Penemote to the episcopate on 12 August in the Diocese of Ondjiva, Cunene. The newly appointed Archbishop Nuncio will represent the Holy Father in Pakistan.
On Sunday, the Vatican Secretary of State will pray with the community of the Parish of São Paulo in the Archdiocese of Luanda.
According to the programme released by the Archdiocese of Luanda, upon his arrival, the Cardinal Secretary of State will be received at the International Airport, 4 de Fevereiro Luanda, by some Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tomé (CEAST), priests, religious, the faithful and government entities.
