Pope receives Bolivian president
President Evo Morales of Bolivia paid a visit to Pope Francis in the Vatican on June 30.
Pope Francis on Saturday received in private audience in the Vatican, President Evo Morales of Bolivia.
Morales later met Vatican Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Paul Gallagher.
The Holy See Press Office issued a statement after the meetings saying, “During the cordial discussions, the positive relations between the Holy See and Bolivia were evoked, with special reference to the implementation of the bilateral agreements, and there was an exchange of views on the regional situation.”
