Pope Francis visits homeless families at the Capuchin Day Centre
Pope Francis visits the Capuchin Day Centre in the heart of the city of Dublin where he met with the Capuchin Fathers, employees, volunteers and homeless persons.
Greeting the Pope on his arrival on Saturday was Capuchin Friar, Brother Kevin Crowley, founder of the Day Centre, and his team.
Br Kevin has seen Ireland during the most difficult of times including recession in the 1980’s and most recently the financial crisis that hit the country.
Present also in the cafeteria with Fr Kevin were the other Cappuchin priests who work with him as well as employees and volunteers, and about 100 people who receive their services..
The Popespoke to the group and then met each one personally.
