Pope appoints Kevin Ingram as new ASIF board member

Kevin Ingram was appointed on Saturday to work with the Financial Intelligence and Supervisory Authority (ASIF).
The president of the ASIF, Carmelo Barbagallo, expressed his satisfaction with the papal appointment.
Brief biography
Kevin Ingram was an audit partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (‘PwC’) based in London from 1990 until he retired in December 2009.
He specialized in the audit of financial services businesses including reporting on the internal financial controls of these businesses to the UK Financial Services Regulator.
He was head of the PwC UK Investment Fund audit practice from 2000 to 2007. His experience includes auditing asset management businesses, banks and some insurance companies, as well as the audit of numerous investment products including investment trusts, open-ended funds, hedge funds and private equity funds.
Since his retirement from PwC, he has been the non-executive chairman of two UK-listed investment companies. One of these focused on investing in UK-listed businesses and the other in specialty lending investments mainly in the USA.
Ingram is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Trustee Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Westminster Roman Catholic Diocesan Trust.
